Network Engineer II (Commerce IT)

Job DescriptionJob Purpose or Objective(s):
Supports all Network LAN/WAN/Security/VoIP by designing, implementing, and troubleshooting needed data connectivity.
The Network Engineer will work with other Network Engineers, Network System Administrators, and 3rd party vendors; stay up to date on new solutions and recommend ways that can better support CNO.
Primary Tasks:
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Build productive internal/external working relationships.
Normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Do troubleshooting to resolve low level network connectivity (like end user IP, switch port settings, confirm IP connectivity)Perform changes under the supervision of a higher Network Engineer and follow directionsConfigure network security (Firewalls, IDS, IPS, and configuration settings) devices by following directionsConfigure IP addresses on switches and routersTroubleshoot using OSI layer 1 to 3.
Set Host/desktop network configurations.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and
Experience:
MINIMUMBachelor's Degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience in related field.
Cisco CCNA 2 years Professional Experience with Cisco switches or routers You will report to the Network Operations Supervisor.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
